Pakistan’s Gwadar International Airport was finished and operating in September 2021. Imran Khan, the Pakistani prime minister, gave it his blessing on March 29, 2019.
The airport was constructed in Pakistan’s Balochistan region to aid in the growth of the Gwadar Port and the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) initiative. It is a contemporary facility with a 12,000-foot runway and the ability to carry 30,000 metric tons of supplies in addition to up to 600,000 passengers per year.
3,000 opportunities were generated by the airport building. Imran Khan, the chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), officiated at the airport’s inaugural on March 29, 2019.
